VIA Technologies, Inc. press release in case you hadn't read about it yet - VIA have delevoped some new "eden" processors (although these ones are based on the faster "nehemiah" core (with full speed FPU)) that are designed to be passively cooled. The exciting bit, they're going to be released at 800mhz and 1000mhz (1ghz - max 7watts!). So you'll no longer need to replace the heatsink on VIA epia boards to acheive a passively cooled pc, you'll be able to buy them pre-passified so to speak.
