I've just about finished deciding which java books i really want. but thanks for linking to that ;-)

yep, i've got a big fat java 1.1 book you could have if you want?

is that a que java book? I'll have anything going. I think textbook style books go ott about the language (ooh objects..) and then reference books don't tell you how to use the 'standard library' objects that they supply, just list what there is. So anyone got any recommendations?
Anyway at the moment my top two I want are () in a nutshell and head first (), both by o'reilly. After that I would want something like 'writing 3d games in ()' or 'image processing and other serious practical uses of ()'

I've just caught up with the plot. So you know if someone's just bought you something if you can't find it in the wishlist.
