mistakes and why people make them..
1. closing a window - you think its quit because you've used a pc, and you never really got that macs use the top bar as the main input window. But as soon as apps can have multiple windows, you should be aware of there being one app and multiple windows. doh. also, if the finder quit when no windows were open, you wouldn't have a program running.
2. running an app from a disk image is not a wrong thing, its just a bit different, besides, some apps are app installers that you run from disk image. Really you shouldn't download disk images, you should be able to download apps.
3. erm. who does that?
4. yeah google gets you to the website. so stop remembering urls.
5. hmm, who does that?
6. pc user getting confused.
7. so..
8. and?
9. no problems on a mac? well if you think you don't have to think, no wonder you'll have problems on any computer.
10. not sure thats actually true.
11. how long have they used a mac?
12. mac v windows usability thing.
13. being brought up on windows.
14. So press eject on your dvd drive while watching a DVD on windows.. is that pretty?
15. How would that be any different on any computer.
16. too much reliance on pictures. Apple doesn't have a start menu. Possibly their design of the dock is not great.
17, Switchers.. What do they want to do today?
18. yeah, that seems silly.
19. some apps have uninstallers. not many.
20. minimise is good. hide is bad.
21. yeah and plenty of people still double click internet links.
22. dock is stupid.
23. desktop is home. I own the computer. Except now its unix.
24. Improvements in this area would be a good thing.
25. Dock is stupid.
26. Expose is good. Windows are nuisance.
27. I haven't used an apple keyboard for a very long time, so I wouldn't know.
28. Hey well done for finding the home and end keys. Is this different on PC?
29. Yeah. copying over existing files should be handled better on both platforms.
30. not really sure it matters which way you do it, so long as it gets you to where you want to be. Nothing wrong with doing things the logical way.
