Wired News: Mac Supercomputer Joins Elite - Mac Supercomputer officially the 3rd fastest supercomputer, with 1,100 Dual 2GHz G5s. AMD at 6th place, with 1,408 Dual 2GHz Opterons.
UK Becomes Sixth Country to Implement EUCD "The UK, as of October 31, 2003, became the sixth nation to implement the laws required to comply with the European Union Copyright Directive with its Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003 legislation." Does this effect us in anyway?
Brazil moves to open source, "Citing economic as well as social reasons, Brazil's government is opting to move away from Windows, opting instead for Open Source (read: Linux) solutions. Interestingly, Microsoft's representative in Brazil decries this as a movement away from freedom and choice..." Hmmm Microsoft are weirdos! IBM also moving away from Windows.
