Nelsoncolne kummune i.t. (commmunity) is a community of people who like talking about technology, hardware, the cult of apple, current affairs, the internet, tv, robots, digital cameras, etc. It started with some people who used to live in nelsoncolne nelson colne, lancashire.
Oooo, but it's the question mark that's the problem isn't it? I'd love to see it myself. I wonder if Channel 4 have put that trailer out to gauge public opinion or something? It's far too polished for a "me and my mate knocked it up last night" scenario isn't it? But notably, there's no genuine actors, and possibly no genuine actor voices in it. There's certainly rumours out there if you do a google. Hey, and this page turns up too.
Might be worth mentioning that this blog refers to the video as an "excellent piss take on Nathan Barley", and that the guy who posted the video, Paul Dullson also sems to have posted various other videos which feature the same comic style. Could be we're just dealing with a talented hobbyist here, unfortunately, although at least there are rumours elsewhere of a series 2, so even if the video is unrelated, that doesn't mean it won't happen.
aye i think you're right. what's interesting is that the cast of nathan barley have interesting myspace profiles, where they are still (pretending to be) the characters from nathan barley. almost makes you think it's current. i saw one of the actors from nathan barley in Liverpool, so I doubt they're filming at the moment.
