for people who want to run OS X mainly this is good. but for me, I prefer windows (or linux) over OS X, and find my computer hardware (dell laptop, own built pc) and software (Windows XP) completely reliable and enjoyable to use, and much cheaper to buy than Apple computers, so I doubt I will use this...

Would you want to use the internet on your spectrum though? Apparently these new Intel Macs run windows WAY quicker than any PCs. But I expect that is because they are the first computers to have DUAL CORE (Pentium M) CPUs, whereas most PCs are still single core P4 / AMD64s, and we're still waiting for desktop dual core CPUS...

in tests these intel macs and intel pcs with same chips come out performing the same. makes sense. same chip. innit. stupid of apple to claim G5 so much faster than P4 (which is possibly is) but then say New Intel chips was faster than G5, because now, we (intelligent people) all know that as long as we get dual core Intel chips, then we have the fastest computer possible and can happily stay with windows if we want, and much cheaper pc hardware.
