"The Duel for Dual Core(s)" I'm going to blog that just because they know the difference between Dual and Duel. Unfortunately they don't know what to do if you've got more that one Core. Maybe they're going Hard Core and getting confused.

sounds like they had a go at running some tests. and they got some numbers out. and they didn't compare it with non dual core, which was the obvious thing to do, and just may-be the operating system understands what to do with 4 cores. You hope.

hmm. test b: cinebench: machine a is definitely 2 processors with 2.2 ghz each. machine b is 1 processor at 3ghz (approx).
test c: we summed the results of several tests, some of which machine b won, some of which machine a won, however one test machine a won by a large margin - so could this be more to do with ram acess or efficiency of processor
test d: we loaded loads of files.. and did some stuff, and then we mention that one machine has 4 gig of ram and the other only 1 gig.
Ever feel like they're comparing apples with helicopters?
