So here I am working away on a quick review of Mepis 2004 - and then "lo and behold" they go and release Mepis 3.3 aka a 2005 version!

Some 14yr olds at primet in colne took extacy. Why? And on a wednesday night? there's no sense.

Jaguar X-Type - being lifted up so you can see what's underneath. This was taken at the Jaguar factory show room, in Liverpool.

I took this picture because I thought it was cool that you could see right through the building in the center that they're building. When I looked at the picture later, I realised I'd taken a photo of some kind of parallel dimension, whereby the whole earth was bending. (in reality the cheap digicam i used, has a fairly poor cmos sensor that must take the photo from the top and then scan/read down the sensor, so if you move the camera slightly, the image can change)

A picture of my boss - taken through a clear glass bodum cup of tea (no milk) with the cheap 'Mercury Slimcam 3000 / aka Slim Cam II' saturation and contrast played with a bit.

I took this picture with a cheap digicam (Mercury Slim 3000) and thought it looked pretty cool so I'm posting it here. Will hopefully add some more random picks as time goes on. Why don't you post some random pics of yours using 'hello' / picasa.

Deep in the Apple cave these slim little mini pocketops are doing the rounds and getting a lot of great feedback. Sources who claim to have see one have commented that an internal planning spec details that the new machine runs a stripped-down flavour of Mac OS X. We're told that it will finally utilize Apple's Inkwell technology to "write anywhere" and neatly fold into your pocket - rather like an enlarged Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phone with a keyboard." from here, via here. Coffee and Cigarettes (2003) - so it's a black and white film with famous people in it that sit in a cafe drinking coffee, and smoking cigarettes, so like it's even got steve coogan in, but like i didn't get that far, coz after 30minutes you're thinking how long is left? and then after 40 minutes you think BORING! and go upstairs and sit on the internet instead.
