I know this blog is kind of dead...
But this is flipping awesome. ignore the fact that they call it a "podcast" when in fact it's a Rave mix by Moby stored as an mp3... because it's quite frankly awesome and should be downloaded anyway. (via boingboing)

This is a test of the Nokia N97 as a blogging device
Note that Im having to use Opera Mini because the built in web browser is so crap that it crashes every time I try and post something on blogger.
The keyboard is a little poor. Space bar is in the wrong place. The keyboard works a little better and quicker when you use it liked a crackberry and type with your opposable thumbs (holding the phone rather than putting it down on the desk) but the spacing feels a little too wide when compared to a blackberry and the feeling is very ZX81. Where is the Psion 5 keyboard when you need it?
The screen seems much more responsive than the Sony Satio and is usable with just your fingers.
I guess its not too bad - perhaps quicker and more usable than having to use a normal phone - but nothing yet has convinced me that any phone is a suitable (perfect) blogging tool. The only thing they are really good at is photo blogging and posting short twitter style updates.

Funny, interesting, and absurd - Pancake Stacker "Final Solution"
Overly impressive complex solution used to stack pancakes, when surely there's a much simpler solution available at BoingBoing.net - worth reading the comments too.

Dave Pearce - The Dance Years - 1989
1989 - available from Asda or Amazon UK for £5. Worth it simply for Young MC - Know How (CD1, Track 12) - he's got no hat.
Dave Pearce has done all the other years it seems, although I'm not sure which ones are any good, it might be good to go backward (to 1988) rather than forwards, for classics such as Humanoid, Bomb the Bass, etc. If you were keen on this music in the early 90s then it's a great trip down memory lane and could be a give you a great feeling of nostalgia. Anyone with a better memory of that time fancy looking over the track listings and giving their thoughts?

Slightly shameless whoring here. I am conducting research for my university and would like any and all of you to complete a survey if you wouldn't mind? It's three minutes, anonymous and an original contribution to knowledge

Olympus PEN E-P1 Review at DigiCamReview.com
Just thought I'd post this up here, as you may be interested, it's a new category of camera, not quite a DSLR, which means it's small, and not a compact, which means it's got great image quality and interchangeable lenses. Very clever stuff indeed. Olympus PEN E-P1 Reviewed at DigiCamReview.com.
website... that speaks...
I don't know what's going on. I think my brain may have just fried itself. interesting post here about "car bras" but with one extra feature, click the image, and you can hear him read his message! wow!

Married on Myspace...
So it's like a reality TV show about a real couple who are getting married "on myspace" with people voting for things as they go along. Made by endemol (who made Big Brother). Kind of weird. A little bit entertaining as well. Especially at 3am when you can't sleep. Link.

Public Information Videos on Driving...
Handy tips for one and all (mostly about motorway driving) some entertaining, but also educational...
Crossply and Radial Tyres Don't Mix!
Keep your distance
Look in your mirror
Keep the 2 second rule
Don't use the hard shoulder!
Driving in roadworks
I pity the fool who doesn't keep his distance!
What to do if you break down on the motorway
